heirloom tomato tart for tomato producepalooza 🍅🍅🍅 topped with basil oil made with @filippoberio_us’s extra virgin olive oil that has a nice fruity note that enhances the flavor of tomatoes + basil.

To make the basil oil:
- Blanch 1 cup of basil for ~15 seconds, and immediately submerge in ice water
- Squeeze basil dry and pat off any residual water
- Blend basil with ½ cup of @filippoberio extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt, add more oil if too thick
- Optionally, strain the oil through a sieve (i’m lazy and don’t)
- Store in fridge for up to 5 days
