Miso-Sesame Fridge Cleanout Noodle Bowl

I’ve been living in lisbon the last few weeks, which means my condiment selection has been much sparser than usual but I’ve loved how just a few ingredients can come together to make something delicious! I’m thinking I might eventually just do one post with different noodle bowl sauce ideas instead of individual posts for each bowl?

I used (for 1 saucy bowl!):

  • 1 tbsp miso
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp gochujang
  • hot water to thin as needed
  • healthy amount of roasted sesame seeds because I love them on everything and because this shaker is fun 
  • other things: soba noodles, radishes, cucumber, sad-avocado, doufu pian (tofu beancurd squares — I’ve never seen these before!)

To make:

  • Mix together miso, sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, gochujang
  • Adjust to taste and add hot water as needed
  • Mix with your fridge cleanout ingredients
